Beauy has appointed a Junior Tournaments Director - Jay Nicholson
Jay is responsible for identifying suitable tournaments for Beauy teams to play in and share these details with coaches and AGCs to confirm team participation.
Jay will create a tournament calendar giving coaches as much notice as possible to prepare for tournaments and once entry is confirmed, have these recognised on the club’s Event and Game calendar.
Because tournament costs vary and are not part of player subscriptions, it is important to have all parents in agreement to pay for this cost prior to registration of the team. Beauy encourages participation in tournaments which are a great learning experience for all players and a lot of fun. Some of our teams have already participated in local pre-season tournament which is great preparation for the season ahead.
