Match Report: Boroondara Eagles 3-0 Beaumaris

Beauy slumped to defeat at rivals Boroondara last weekend in, possibly, the most disappointing performance this season.

After a solid performance against Goulburn Valley last week, and being unfortunate not to take 3 points, the same team started against Eagles.

A solid first 15 minutes saw multiple corners and chances to score not taken, before a break away on the right and a good cross saw the home team take the lead after a tidy finish .

Beauy bounced back, and were forcing for an equaliser, when immediately prior to halftime the Eagles broke away again down the right and the second goal was conceded.

Matters got worse early in the second half with Hamraz Zenoozi set off for a second yellow, before a defensive error saw the Eagles skipper run away to make it 3-0 on 60 minutes

The rest of the half was forgettable with no further goals conceded, but Beauy will need to quickly turn their fortunes around at home to Doveton next week with only 8 games to go.
