BSC Coronavirus (Covid -19) Update

Dear parents, guardians and members of Beaumaris Soccer Club,


Due to the current Coronavirus situation, we have spoken to medical professionals and sought advice from public health authorities. With this in mind, we are implementing

extra hygiene practice with immediate effect


Please discuss these procedures with your family before the next training session. We ask all persons attending players and parents to ensure:


- wash hands frequently and thoroughly

- Sneeze or cough into the elbow

- dispose of tissues straight after use

- do not share drink bottles and label your drink bottles

- no handshaking before or after matches

- no closely grouped huddles

- no sharing of fruit or snacks bring your own to matches


We aim to reduce the possible risks to all persons If you or a family member have traveled overseas to high/moderate risk countries, (please see government website) we ask you to self-quarantine even without showing signs of illness upon your return for 14 days.


The Australian Government currently considers the following countries to be at higher risk for COVID-19: (as of 9-3-20).


Mainland China

Iran

Italy

Republic of Korea


The Australian Government considers the following countries to be at moderate risk for COVID-19: (as of 9-3-20).


Cambodia

Hong Kong

Indonesia

Japan

Singapore

Thailand


If you are experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness: fevers, cough or shortness of breath. We ask that you remain at home and seek phone advice from your local medical professional.
