Following the appointment of acting Director of Football David Gibson to be Assistant Coach at Eastern Lions in the Victorion Premier League, Beauy has appointed his successor Jamie Hollywood to the role with immediate effect.
We thank David for stepping in when asked to support our junior coaches and we wish Jamie well in his new role.
Jamie Hollywood was born in Ireland and is a player with our Senior Men’s team. After 7 years playing professional football in the League of Ireland winning multiple international caps representing Ireland, Jamie and his partner Serena moved to Australia. Jamie is well qualified having a UEFA C Licence coaching qualification and he is ideally suited to supporting our junior coaches as they start the 2025 season. He also has a Bachelor Honours degree in Sports Management and Coaching.
About his appointment Jamie said
“My life revolves around football, and I am passionate about our game.
My objective for 2025 is to further develop our players and coaches both on and off the pitch. It is clear to me that Beauy has great people who want the best for the club, and I hope to add to that by ensuring a positive environment where our young players can develop, and our coaches continue their commitment to up-skilling.
I look forward to meeting everyone in the coming weeks in what I expect will be a promising year for our club!”
