Beauy continued their fine and well-timed run to the end of the season with a straightforward win over relegated Mazenod. Goals from ‘AK’ Singh, and Felix Polster in quick succession had the team two up at halftime. Chances went begging throughout the game and could easily have been a scoreline that rivalled our demolition of Bentleigh Cobras in July, but Mazenod continued battling throughout the game and was always a threat, and the points were the most important outcome.
Final match of the season at home to Mornington (4th place) on Saturday 20 August and a win will guarantee topping the State League One ladder and gaining the opportunity to play in National Premier League competition ( NPL3) next season.
Come along and wear your Beauy colours and drive the team to victory.
