Formed in 1986 by John Jones in Dandenong, JJ Contract Carpets is a second-generation family owned business, specialising in Commercial and Vinyl Flooring. Son, Andrew Jones joined in December 1988 and together they moved the business to Cheltenham where it quickly began thriving, with jobs of Caulfield Racecourse Grandstand, Rialto Refurbishment and St Vincent’s Hospital to add to their growing list of projects. Finally settling in Braeside, with John Jones retiring in July 2003, son Andrew Jones took over the business, and after 15 years running the company, Andrew has transformed the business into one of the largest commercial flooring companies in Melbourne with an array of notable projects.
