As
a club we have done well to preserve our grounds thus far and on behalf of the
committee and Bayside Council we
thank you for your perseverance. However we are not over the hurdle and
we have to be mindful that if over used the grounds will deteriorate very
quickly. We request that we all use a common sense approach and take
a careful approach to continue looking after them. Some points to
consider are:
-
Players should train in sand shoes or blades
-
Note those training on C & D Beauy
pitches - main ground are to train in Penalty area to half way line
only.
-
Training on a wet ground will tear it up quicker so postpone it or use the TV -
DVD facility
-
In the short period following Heavy rain grounds being closed for training
sessions
-
Training drills (running and exercise) should be done as much off the grounds
as possible
-
Goal area work should be kept to a minimum and children using them outside of
training should be discouraged
Also
keep in mind house keeping. Clean the dressing rooms after your use (game
days include the opposition area's too).
